Does Glass Pool Fencing Get Dirty Easily?
Our Tips For Keeping Your Glass Pool Fencing Clean
- There are few different popular choices for pool fencing, but here at
Langson Glass we tend to favour
glass pool fencing! There is no denying that it has the potential to start looking a little bit ‘dirty’ over extended periods of time, but the good news is that it is simple to maintain. Here are some tips for cleaning glass pool fencing.
- There really isn’t any big secret when it comes to cleaning pool fencing. All you need to do is make sure that you do regular maintenance, using a regular glass cleaning product or even a bathroom cleaning product. For more stubborn stains and marks, we always recommend a scratch free white pad and some elbow grease!
- Dust and dirt will accumulate over time when your pool fencing faces the elements, so make sure to give it a good once over every now and then with a powerful garden hose.
- If after these processes there is still some visible dirt and debris on your glass fencing, then you can get those final areas nice and clean by using a damp microfiber cloth followed by a dry towel. This combination should be enough to dislodge anything that is being particularly stubborn.
- Another top tip; don’t ignore the aluminium posts and rails that hold your glass fencing together. Your glass could be as clean as humanly possible, but it won’t ever look great unless you commit to clean the aluminium too. This can be done with something like simple washing up liquid from the kitchen. Don’t use anything that might run the risk of scratching the metal.
